Now Available in Print - A LIVING MASCOT

by Rhonda Edwards

This is a true story of an elementary school that shares the habitat of a family of bald eagles. A bald eagle couple leaves their historic nesting site of Middleton Place to cross the Ashley River to share their new home with elementary students.  With their nest adjacent to the school playground, the bald eagle adults can be seen coming and going from the nest as they feed their eaglets and later teach them to fly.  As national symbols of freedom and liberty, what better mascot for elementary students than this living representation?  Accompanied by awesome, realistic full-color illustrations.
